Waxing is a temporary approach to hair removal, which removes the hair at the root. Hair growth accures in three stages. It takes three to twelve weeks (depending on the person) for hair to grow back in the previously waxed area. Just about any area of the body can be waxed. (see Wax Services)
The different types of waxes are: Hot Wax Waxing is performed by spreading a thin layer of hot wax ( soft wax) over the skin. A special non-woven waxing strip is then pressed on the waxed area and pulled quickly against the direction of hair growth. This removes the wax along with the hair and also dead skin cells, leaving the waxed hairless area smooth. I also use a hot (hard) wax to get to the "hard to get to areas". I prefer the use of hot wax on most clients. Cold Wax or Sugaring Another method of waxing involves Cold wax or Sugar that is applied to the area of hair to be removed in the same as a hot wax would. This waxing method is beneficial and should be used on people who have sensitive skin. New Hair GrowthNew hair growth comes in fine and soft, and much different then the course or prickly hair growth you find with shaved hair. After repeated waxing, it is typical for hair regrowth to come in less and much more fine and thin than before. You're able to see a drastic change in that your hair growth is less than you're use to. Temecula SkinCare Waxing Services| upper lip | | $10.00 | | Eyebrow | | $15.00 |
